The College of Humanities is pleased to announce the inaugural funding round for the Documentary Studies Seed Grant program. This program is designed to foster creative collaboration, both within the college and throughout the University campus. U’s Wellness Week Activities Range From Fair to Mile Walk to Alcohol-Free Halloween Party

University of Utah students, faculty, staff and the greater community can learn more about health and wellness during the U’s Wellness Week, Oct. 28 through 31. The 13th Annual Wellness Fair, traditionally a highlight of the week because of the giveaways and free health information, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in the U’s Olpin Union Ballroom. Last year more than 2,000 people attended the mid-week event.

University of Utah to Conduct Earthquake Disaster Drill

A moderate earthquake will strike the University of Utah campus between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., Tues., September 30, 2003, at least in theory. The drill is part of a series of ongoing studies to determine the preparedness of emergency personnel to deal with such a disaster. The epicenter of the simulated earthquake and most of the exercise activity will be located on the east plaza of U’s Marriott Library. The drill will conclude at 1 p.m.
