Wendover Officials Will Convene at Roundtable Meeting to Discuss the Process and Timeline for Annexation

The issue of annexing Wendover City, Utah, into West Wendover, Nev., is back at the forefront of discussion for officials of both cities and states. The proposal to merge both cities has faced decades of interest, numerous studies and widespread attention. Now, for the first time, all of the stakeholders involved will convene at a roundtable meeting on Nov. 4, in West Wendover, Nev., to resolve the issues involved with the proposed annexation.

Cognetix to Host Amendment 2 Info Session

New Walkway Dedicated to University Heroes, Family, Friends

Now there is place where the University of Utah’s heroes can be honored and remembered each day as people pass by. The U will dedicate what it simply calls The Walkway, Saturday, Sept. 25 at 11:15 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the site of the commemorative footpath on the east side of the George S. Eccles Legacy Bridge at Fort Douglas and will be preceded by an open house beginning at 10:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served.
