May 12, 2015 – The University of Utah Alumni Association invites area businesses to participate in the Corporate Cup 5k, Saturday, June 13, beginning at 7 p.m. Starting and ending at the Rice-Eccles Stadium on the U campus, the event is focused on company pride, camaraderie and friendly competition. Proceeds from the event will support the programs, services and scholarships of the U Alumni Association.

To participate, companies must register a minimum of ten employees. Direct family members – partners and children ages 14 and older – may also participate as company team members. The per-person entry fee is $35. Registration is online only and closes, Monday, June 1 at 11:59 p.m. A designated team captain may register their company at www.corpcup5k.com. Between June 8 and 11, each company should send a representative to pick up runner bags and race T-shirts for all team members at the Alumni House on the U campus, 155 S. Central Campus Drive. Arrangements can also be made to deliver the bags to the company prior to the run.

The fastest company will win the O.C. Tanner Cup, a traveling trophy, for one year. The three fastest men and women from each team will also be recognized. Awards, prize giveaways and live entertainment will take place from 8 – 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.corpcup5k.com.
